Golden Heart Foundation to give scholarship to Alaskan Native/American Indian members who are majoring in media related field Pacific Palisades , CA (Syndacast) Dec 3, 2008 -- The Golden Hearts Foundation of Pacific Palisades, CA is proud to announce the establishment of “The Native American Communications Scholarship”. This award will be utilized to help students of Alaskan Native/American Indian descent who are studying in a communications area, such as: Journalism, Broadcasting, Political Communications, Speech or Debate Forensics.”The Native American Communications Scholarship” is a merit based award that applicants must demonstrate need, as well as have experience in debate, speech, broadcasting and any other communication related activity while in high school or at the University level. Requirements are: Personal Essay, 2 Letters of Recommendation, Tribal Enrollment (Alaskan Native/American Indian) and Communications area of study.
